My favorite blog post of this quarter was "An American Nightmare" because I was most interested in writing it. I felt kind of uneasy reading Andersen's article in class and was happy to get a better idea of what he was trying to say afterward. The whole idea of the American Dream has fascinated me as a result of numerous discussions we've had this year, so I was glad to present some questions to the class about it using an example of a post-college students hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. I also thought the college debt facet to the post was interesting because many of us are very stressed about what school we're going to, myself included, because it has become our very own American Dream. This was my favorite post because it incorporated the media, class discussion, and a bit of self-reflection.
